We are seeking an experienced and creative manager to join the Westminster Floating Support Service as the Regional Services Manager to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction of the service at a time of considerable change as we are about to go through a procurement process for a new contract.

You will be both leading the service and helping to shape the new service delivery model. This is a period of great challenge but also a fantastic opportunity.

About the role:

The role of the Regional Services Manager is to lead and develop SHP’s outreach services within the borough of Westminster, ensuring the effective delivery of our business objectives and the continuous improvement of our services to clients.

The Regional Services Manager will have overall responsibility for the management team overseeing the delivery of a multi-disciplinary service that covers a broad range of presenting needs. The manager will work closely with other members of the management team to ensure that there is a cohesive and joined up service delivery.

The Regional Services Manager will provide the leadership and vision that ensures that the service offers high quality support to service users to engage with appropriate specialist services, prevent tenancy breakdowns, improve quality of life and promote independence including access to education, training and employment and health and wellbeing initiatives.

The role will operate on a hybrid blended working model with an expectation of 3 days in the office.

  • Staff and service management experience and the ability to support others in delivering effective service outcomes.
  • A track record of managing significant change and delivering strong results driven services.
  • Experience of and the ability to plan, monitor and evaluate services to ensure that they are responsive and relevant with a track record of delivering high quality outcomes for clients who are be socially excluded.
  • Experience of managing significant budgets and ensuring that services are delivered within tight financial constraints.
  • Strong networking skills and proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to establish and improve services available to vulnerable client groups.
  • Ability to recruit and develop staff, manage performance, led by example and achieve predetermined results.
