Our Learning and Development Team is expanding in response to  an exciting time of growth, within SHP.  In this new role, you will play a key part in ensuring our staff have the knowledge and skills they need to best support our clients. 

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. Our vision is of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life. 

We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change. From supporting people in crisis to helping people take the final steps towards independence and employment, we make a difference to 10,000 lives every year across all 32 boroughs.

As the Learning and Development (L&D) Officer, you will support the day to day running of the L&D team, including coordinating training and learning sessions, communicating with staff and trainers and updating our learning management system. You will work on various learning projects, taking the lead on our programmes of learning, such as the Trainee Development Programme. The successful candidate will also have the chance to build and facilitate learning activities which will support you with to ensure they are inclusive and engaging. 

The ideal candidate will be organised and able to manage multiple areas of work through good communication and prioritisation. You will also have experience of designing and delivering learning activities, as well as running a project with multiple stakeholders. You will need  to be confident in establishing positive working relationships across the organisation and working collaboratively with your new team. 

In return, we will support you to thrive, be creative and to develop in your role; including enabling you to complete a Learning & Development qualification. This role will be homeworking and office-based.
